Toasted Chili Garbanzo Beans

Have you ever tried crisping up garbanzo beans?! Well if you haven’t, you should!. One of my favorite snacks at the moment! ⁣

Ingredients:⁣

  • Garbanzo Beans⁣

  • Olive oil⁣

  • Salt⁣

  • Chili powder⁣

  • Garlic powder⁣

  • Paprika⁣

The How To:

Empty a can (or two) of garbanzo beans into a strainer. Rinse them really well. I pat them dry really well and let them sit out for a few hours to ensure they are really dry. In order for them to crisp in the oven, they need to be really dry. Once dried, I season them with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, chili powder and paprika. Pop them into the oven at 425 degrees for about 40 mins. I would check every 15 minutes, as your oven and moisture level in the beans might vary. ⁣ You’re looking for them to be a nice dark golden color and crispy to the touch. Let them cool and enjoy!
