This stir fry is what week night dreams are made of. It’s so easy to whip up and it’s packed with flavor! This one is a must-try.

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

½ red onion, minced

1 portabella mushroom, chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 inch of ginger, minced

1 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)

2 tbsp chili paste (1 if you’re sensitive to heat)

2 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp fish sauce

1 toasted sesame oil

1 ½  tbsp toasted sesame seeds

2 cups shredded green cabbage

2 chopped green onions

Cilantro for topping

The How To:

Start off sautéing your onions in olive oil. Sauté for a few minutes then add your garlic and ginger. Then add the mushrooms and cook until soft. Be sure to add a bit of salt with each new layer. Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the ground beef. Sauté for a few minutes and then add tamari, chili paste, rice vinegar, fish sauce, and toasted sesame oil. Sauté until the beef has fully cooked. (If it happens to get a bit dry, add a bit of chicken stock). Finally add your cabbage and cook for 2 more minutes. Top with sesame seeds and serve over rice.
