Simple Tuna Salad
I eat A LOT of tuna. It’s just such an easy snack or meal to throw together that I often gravitate toward it when I’m hungry and need a quick fix (which is often). It’s also super high in protein which is great for building muscle and also keeping you satisfied longer. I recently was on a hunt for canned tuna that was lower in mercury, as tuna is listed toward the top of the list of mercury-heavy fish. I found @safecatchfoods at Sprouts and picked up a few to stock my pantry! It's also the only tuna that is @whole30 approved. So here’s a quick recipe that you can use as a base for your salad. Feel free to add celery, jalapeno, chipotle powder, chili powder, raisins, grapes etc. You can really make this your own!
Ingredients:
1 can of Tuna
2 tbsp of soy-free mayo
1 tbsp brown mustard
1 tsp of hot sauce
1 pinch of salt and pepper
1 green onion
